Comparing Numbers: Revision

To compare two three-digit numbers we look at the hundreds first, then the tens, then the ones. Children write <, > or = between pairs like 902 and 920, circle the greatest or smallest number in a set, compare numbers shown as blocks, and explain in their own words which is bigger, 827 or 872.
