QuizByt for schools

What a school account includes, how to set up classes and teachers, and how to see it for yourself first.

The quickest way to see this is to be shown it. Ask for a walkthrough and we will take you through the teacher view, the student view and what a parent sees, on a call, with your own classes on the screen.

What a school account is

A school gets its own branded dashboard over the whole QuizByt catalogue: 396 lessons, 2,832 quizzes and 392 topics across 8 subjects, plus the tools to run classes on top of it.

Schools are priced per school, not per pupil.

Getting started

Register the school at the school sign-up page. Three short screens: the school name, city, phone and country; your name, email and a password; then your brand colour and a rough student count.

A new school starts as pending. We check it and activate it, usually within a working day, and email you when it is open. You are signed in straight away but the portal stays locked until then.

If you would rather be shown round first, ask for a walkthrough and we will arrange a call.

Classes and teachers

From the dashboard you create classes, choose which subjects each one covers, and add teachers.

  • A teacher is invited by email and gets a one-time sign-in link, so nobody has to share a password.
  • A teacher already teaching at another school cannot be added to yours. The form says so rather than failing quietly.
  • Subjects follow the country on the school record.

Adding students

Three ways, all from the class page:

  • Assign somebody who already has a QuizByt account, found by email.
  • Invite a new student, who gets a real one-time sign-in link by email.
  • Bulk upload a CSV or XLSX of a whole class at once.

You can also generate coupon codes in a batch and hand them out. A student registers at the coupon page with the code, and lands in the right class with the right subjects already unlocked.

Your own material

A school is not limited to our catalogue. You can upload your own worksheets, write your own lessons, and build your own quizzes, including with the AI quiz builder, which drafts questions on a topic for a teacher to check and edit before anything is published to students.

You can also import anything from the main catalogue into your own class.

Ask for a walkthrough

Thirty minutes on a call, with your own classes and subjects on screen. We show the teacher view, the student view and what a parent sees, and answer whatever you ask. No cost and no commitment.
