QuizByt for teachers
Write quizzes for the catalogue, review other teachers' work, and turn the credits into a payout.
Join as a teacher
Register at the Teacher Hub. Two short screens, your name and email, then your country, which is only used to set the currency if you ever redeem credits. There is no password and no approval queue.
We email you a one-click sign-in link. Open that and you can start writing immediately.
If you teach at a school that already uses QuizByt, your school administrator has to allow publishing to the global catalogue before you see the option.
Write a quiz
From the Teacher Hub, choose Create a quiz. You pick the class, subject, topic and difficulty, then write the questions.
- Multiple choice, four options, with the correct one marked.
- Five questions minimum, ten maximum. They appear one at a time, so you are never looking at ten empty boxes.
- Submitted quizzes go to other teachers for review, not straight to students.
Everything is scanned for unsuitable content at submission. Anything the filter flags goes to an administrator instead of to peer review.

Review somebody else's
Switch on reviewing in your Teacher Hub settings and a queue appears. You see other teachers' quizzes, never your own, and never one you have already decided on.
- Two different teachers must approve a quiz before it publishes.
- One rejection sends it back to the author with the chance to edit and resubmit.
- A quiz the QuizByt team assigns to you directly publishes on your approval alone.

What you earn
- 1 credit each time you review a quiz.
- 3 credits when a quiz you wrote is approved and published. Nothing is paid at submission, so there is no reward for volume.
- 1 credit for every 10 questions students answer in your published quizzes. Only a student's first attempt counts, so replays cannot be farmed.
Turning credits into a payout
The Redeem page in the Teacher Hub converts credits at the rate set for your country. The minimum request is 50 credits. Requesting a payout holds them immediately, so the same balance cannot be claimed twice.
Payouts are made by hand by an administrator. If a request is refused the credits go straight back onto your balance.
