Representatives for data protection
We do not currently offer QuizByt to people in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom (those countries are marked “coming soon” at registration) so no representative under Art. 27 of the GDPR or the UK GDPR is required of us today. One will be designated for each and named on this page before we open in those countries, and that order matters: the representative exists first, then we sell. The German registration now under way is part of the same piece of work.
If you are in any of those countries and we hold data about you regardless, write to us at info@quizbyt.com and you keep every right the GDPR or UK GDPR gives you.
Dispute resolution
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so no link to it is given here. We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and we do not do so. Consumers in Punjab may approach a Consumer Court under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005; consumers elsewhere keep whatever equivalent route their own law gives them. Please contact us first at info@quizbyt.com. We would rather resolve a complaint ourselves.
Responsibility for content
We are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law. We are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored here, nor to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block information under applicable law remain unaffected; any liability in that respect begins once we become aware of a specific infringement, and we will act promptly.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to external sites over whose content we have no control, so we cannot accept responsibility for it. The provider of the linked page is always responsible for its content. Linked pages were checked for unlawful content at the time of linking; permanent monitoring is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement, and we will remove such links promptly if we learn of one.
Where the company is registered. QuizByt is based in Pakistan and QUIZBYT is our registered trademark there, held at B Block, Askari 11, Lahore 54000, Pakistan. Every legal matter, including anything arising from this page, is handled from Lahore at present, and the Pakistani entity is the one you are contracting with.
We have started registering a company in Germany and are working through the EU data protection requirements that come with it. Once that is complete the head office will be in Germany, and this page will say so, with the German details, before the change takes effect. Until you read it here, nothing about the paragraph above has changed.
