Rounding to the Nearest Ten: Revision
Rounding to the nearest ten means looking at the ones digit: 1 to 4 rounds down and 5 to 9 rounds up. Children use number lines to find which two tens a number like 851 or 743 sits between and which it is closer to, then round numbers such as 306, 843 and 353 without a line. Good revision before tests.
