Data Handling and Pictograms

Tally marks and pictograms are simple ways to show and count information. Children read tally groups, answer questions about a pictogram of how children come to school (where one picture stands for 2), compare the totals, and then survey 10 friends about their favourite fruit to make a tally chart and a pictogram of their own.
