Practical Geometry of Circles: Practice
Circle constructions rest on two facts: the centre of a circle through three points lies where the perpendicular bisectors of the chords meet, and a tangent is at right angles to the radius at its point of contact. With ruler and compasses, students construct a circle through three points, tangents at a point and from an external point, and a triangle's circumscribed circle, leaving every arc visible.
