Melting, Freezing and Boiling
Water melts and freezes at 0 °C and boils at 100 °C, and these changes of state can be reversed. Students name each change, answer questions on freezing and boiling temperatures, and explain everyday puzzles such as why a cold glass gets wet outside and why melted ice can be refrozen but a burnt roti cannot be unburnt.
