Chromatography and Separation
Separation techniques pull mixtures apart, and chromatography spreads the dyes in an ink across paper so you can see how many it contains. Students name the right method for each mixture, label parts such as the filtrate, residue and condenser, and explain why the start line is drawn in pencil and kept above the solvent. One question asks what three spots from a black ink reveal.
