States of Matter: Class 9 Chemistry Worksheet
Solids have a fixed shape and volume, liquids keep their volume but take the shape of the container, and gases have neither. Melting turns a solid into a liquid on heating and freezing reverses it on cooling. Pupils answer multiple-choice questions on the three states and the changes between them, choosing from four options, with up to 15 marks available.
