Real Numbers & Indices: Class 9 Mathematics Worksheet
Rational numbers can be written as fractions such as 3/4, while irrational numbers like √2 cannot. The laws of indices give 2³ × 2⁴ = 2⁷, 3⁵ ÷ 3² = 3³ and (2³)² = 2⁶, any non-zero number to the power 0 equals 1, and x⁻¹ = 1/x. Students apply these rules in multiple-choice questions with four options each, scored out of 15.
