Materials Around Us
Things around us are made of wood, metal, plastic, glass, paper or cloth, and each material feels and behaves differently. Children write what a chair, key, window, shirt, bottle and brick are made of, describe a rock, pillow, balloon and sponge as hard, soft, stretchy or see-through, and circle the objects that float.
