Letter & Story Writing
Writing a formal letter means following a set layout, while a good story needs a clear character, setting and problem. To start, children number the six parts of a formal letter in the correct order, from the sender's address to the signature. Next they plan a story from a starter about Hamza and a locked chest in the attic, answering planning questions and continuing the tale. Score out of 15.
