Modal verbs such as must, might, could and should change the meaning of a sentence to show duty, possibility, ability, advice or permission, and conditionals describe what happens if something else happens. First, students fill in the right modal for eight sentences, each with a hint in brackets. After that they complete conditional sentences in the form asked, with marks out of 15.
