Acids, Bases & Salts
Acids taste sour, like lemon juice and vinegar, bases feel soapy, and when the two react they neutralise each other to make a salt and water. Students learn how litmus paper changes colour and what a pH of 7 means. The worksheet starts with a multiple choice Quick Check and moves on to fill in the blanks, including the chemical name of table salt, scored out of 15.
