Cell Structure & Function
Cells are the building blocks of living things, and each organelle inside has a job: the nucleus holds DNA, mitochondria release energy, ribosomes make proteins and chloroplasts carry out photosynthesis in plants. Class 8 students answer multiple choice questions on these parts and the cell membrane. They then fill in the blanks about vacuoles, ribosomes and the Golgi apparatus, out of 15.
