Narrative Writing

At O Level a narrative of about 450 words works best when it tells one small moment well and shows feeling through action. A model paragraph demonstrates showing rather than telling; the questions then cover choosing a story that fits the word count, how many major turns to allow, and the tired endings examiners meet again and again.
