Food is digested into small soluble molecules, absorbed through the villi of the small intestine and carried round the body by a double circulation, passing through the heart twice on each circuit. Balanced diet, deficiency diseases, enzymes and the order of the heart chambers are recalled, then bile's two roles, villus adaptations and artery and vein differences are explained.
