Floating and Sinking: Practice

Things that float stay on top of the water, and things that sink drop to the bottom. Children guess for a stone, a leaf, a coin, a nail and more, think about why boats can carry people and what happens to a filled bottle, then test three safe objects in water and compare their guesses with what happened.
