Data Handling and Bar Charts

A bar chart shows amounts as bars against a scale, so the first job is to check what one step is worth. Children read a chart of books read from Monday to Thursday, find differences and a total, answer four questions on scales, then survey 10 classmates and draw a labelled bar chart of their own.
