Symmetry and Nets
Folding tests whether a shape has a line of symmetry, and a net is a flat shape that folds up into a 3D solid. Children count lines of symmetry in squares, rectangles, triangles and circles, name the solids made by different nets, and reason about a rectangle's diagonal and which sets of six squares make a cube.
