Expanded Form: Revision

Expanded form pulls a number apart into hundreds, tens and ones, so 564 becomes 500 + 60 + 4. Children write numbers like 231 and 759 in expanded form, put expanded sums back together as one number, change block pictures into expanded form, and say what a digit is worth in numbers such as 464.
