Plant Nutrition and Transport: Practice
Photosynthesis uses light energy absorbed by chlorophyll to turn carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen (6CO₂ + 6H₂O → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂). Questions cover the uses of glucose, the mineral ions needed for chlorophyll and amino acids, xylem, phloem and transpiration, and testing a leaf for starch with a reason given for every step, including destarching.
