The Internet and Its Uses: Practice
The internet is the worldwide network of connected computers, while the World Wide Web is the collection of pages reached across it, found through DNS and loaded over HTTP or HTTPS. Cookies, IP and MAC addresses, phishing, pharming and DDoS attacks are recalled, then students trace the steps from typing a URL to seeing a page and match each threat to a security measure.
