Puzzle · Class 1–5
Odd One Out
Odd One Out practises classification, the reasoning behind many sorting tasks in science and maths. A child in Class 1–5 has to find the rule that links most of the group, such as fruit, animals or things with wheels, and then spot the item that breaks it. Talking through the reason afterwards builds vocabulary too.
- Classification
- Finding the rule
- Explaining a choice
How to play
Look at the group and tap the single item that does not belong with the rest.
For example: You see an apple, a banana, a car and a mango. Tap the car, because it is not a fruit.
