What this lesson covers

Reading Comprehension: Advanced is a 10-part Class 7 English lesson. How it begins

Beyond finding information, you are now asked about the writer's choices. Purpose: why was this written? Audience: who for? How can you tell? Tone: the writer's attitude. Technique: how a particular effect was created. Bias: what has been left out. These questions have no answer stated in the text. You infer it from evidence and explain your reasoning.
