For two players · turn by turn
Sequence
Sequence mixes the luck of the draw with real strategy, which makes it a good family game for Class 6–8 and older. Players have to judge when to build their own line and when to block, keep track of which cards have already gone, and save a Jack for the right moment.
- Blocking and building
- Card counting
- Timing a key move
How to play
The board is a grid of playing cards, and you hold a hand of your own. Play a card from your hand to put your chip on a space showing that card, then draw a new one. Every card is on the board twice, so if one space is taken the other may still be free. Five of your chips in a line (across, down or diagonally) is a sequence. The four corners are free and count for everybody. Two-eyed Jacks (♦ and ♣) go on any empty space; one-eyed Jacks (♠ and ♥) take an opponent's chip off, unless it is part of a finished sequence.

Challenging a friend needs a QuizByt account on a monthly, yearly or school plan. You send the challenge, it shows up on their Games icon, and you take turns whenever you like: you do not both have to be online.
